You have done me a great favour. I had believed that Guinness was made from Liffey water and wanted my ashes chucked in so I'd end up in a pint of Guinness.
It's not!
Children will now have to trek up the Wicklow mountains to do the scattering. :-)

Fine on that - some exercise and they can also enjoy a tipple when they come down - any particular mountain?

Lol you are welcome, are you going to make them do it in bare feet in true Irish pilgrimage style?

Don't know yet, DT. Fond of Glendalough so a river close to there will do.

Oh heck no, Helen! My mum did that every year. My kids won't! :-)
Lynhams of Laragh or the White Heather for the farewell then....at least the AB booze-up and craic in your memory!

Only ever been to the land of Guinness once, Waterford I think, many moons ago. The Guinness was like cream, came back home, and it was rubbish.
Liffey water??

Surely not!

Goodness! Thought for a minute you meant White Heather Whisky, DT. We have a great place to stay in Wicklow. Fun and quirky accommodation the grands and greats will love.
Dingle Founding Fathers An Chead Hocht for the send off and into the river I go.
Guinness isn't great outside Ireland, Nicebloke.

Yes....tis a bit grubby in places, Ich. :-)

Thanks, Haz. Some memories there. x
I had some Guinness in Waterford once, though I had to ask for a doggy bag to take the rest of the glassful home in. Very rich.
