Paying For Ms Office

After declining to renew my c £70 Office sub I installed Apache Home Office. MS have taken their revenge by locking my files which can be viewed and printed but nothing else. Has anybody any solutions?

I’m running MS Office 2007 purchased from an ebay seller that does not require any subscription fees to be paid to Microsoft (I even have an older version of MS Office 97).

I paid less than £20, if you search ebay it is still being sold.
