Thank you for your answers, but can someone please explain why no 1 is Springfield? The way I read the question was that it wasn't where the Simpsons live-I knew they lived in Springfield. Thank you.

There are a lot of places called Springfield.I guess it just means not especially where The Simpson's live. To me
, Where The Simpson's live is the main part of the clue.
