I'm reminded of the time that I stepped outside my house at 5am to wait for the taxi that I'd got booked to take me to Stowmarket station for the first train to London. (I was taking a day trip to Paris on Eurostar that I really didn't want to miss out on). As I did so, I heard desparate miaowing coming from somewhere and looked up to see Tablo on the roof of my house, apparently unable to get down. I couldn't simply leave her there until I got home at around midnight and I couldn't simlpy try to coax her to come down by calling her. (I doubt that my neighbours would have approved of me doing so at that time of the morning).
I felt both worried (for her) and frustrated (for me, as it looked like I was going to have to miss out on my trip to Paris). Then I remembered the magic of Dreamies. I fetched a bag of them from my kitchen, shook it like mad and emptied some of the contents onto the pavement. A few moments later, just as my taxi arrived, one 'trapped' cat magically found a way down from the roof and tucked into her treat ;-)
