I used to buy boxes of mangoes for a fiver from Stratford Road ( right in the middle the biggest Asian area). and make my own. Some hot some mild , The hot one was lovely with milder curries.

all this talk of curry..can't wait 'till the diet finishes... will get a nice take away ! droooool

I remember going somewhere in Walsall once for an Indian meal..it was fab...always stuck in my mind

We have a large Chinese quarter, a Korean area, a large eastern European community too, for someone who loves cooking it's heaven. The different areas usually have restaurants as well so even if you can't cook there are loads of different foodie options.

we have mostly Italian and Chinese.. some Indian/Thai /Greek the Italians are all good huge population here..Polish is also becoming popular as they take up residence, some good supermarkets now
