spyware trojan etc removal

I have a number of trojan, spyware adware and infections on my computer. can anyone tell me the best free downloadable program that I can use to remove these. The main ones are optimize.exe and ech.exe any help would be much appreciated. Thanx Lou x

I agree with whiffey and wonderful (great name for a double act !), I've tried lots of freebies and AVG seems to be the best of the lot.
