Isolation allows you to be yourself.
Anyway, I've always been grumpy, just ask my partner.
I've fought for equality, Zacs but as I can't swim I'll use the historic phrase. ;-)
I can't believe the damage that Brexit has done, Atheist and contrary to what some say to me it's not being anti Britain it's feeling for family and friends.
Anyway, I will stop now as I've gone off topic and I know what that brings forth.
237... Brexit was when we all began to hate the other half of the population. The winners crowed, and the losers moaned. All most unnecessary, but inevitable because of the way the ref was organised.
Unfortunately the *B* word still rears its ugly little head with great frequency...followed by the usual petty insults. It keeps folk occupied.
And the site surviving.

@21:21 Nobody hated anyone in my world (the real one, not the internet which is pretty toxic anyway)
^ I agree with 237SJ at 21:40. I have never fallen out with anyone over Brexit or politics outside of AB and never met people with such inflexible views and obsessed with Boris or Brexit or transgenderism, or are as rude face to face as some are on here
I've known a few personal falling-outs over Brexit (not with me)

Not been on regularly recently but I think you have put your point across extremely well Ab Editor and for me a small donation is the least I can do in return for what I get out of AB.
No conditions from me about Ads, mods or any other changes.
Well I had a think about this idea of donating, and it didn't take to much time to come to a conclusion / decision.
Why on earth would I donate money to a private limited company to keep it up and running? I can't even come up with half a reason.
A private limited company shouldn't really be asking for charity donations should they, or should they? correct me if I'm wrong.
Normally companies who wish to raise funds for various reasons offer shares don't they? but again will stand corrected if I have this wrong.
For anyone to consider buying shares in any company they would first view the present, up to date balance sheet, and consider the future potential before investing. But there again even if the latter appears to be poor on both counts, you can always take a gamble.

To conclude, I'm afraid that no donations will be coming from my direction, but will continue to support charities that have far more urgent needs. Turkey are in an awful state, and so are Ukraine. In both countries children are sitting out in freezing cold conditions, day and night, getting little food, and in many cases none at all, no water to drink or wash themselves, inviting all sorts of illnesses due to destroyed sewer systems.
Needless to say where any funds I have in the coming weeks will go.
Sorry AB but your needs are not mine at present. But the very best of luck!
