It won't.

The problem with the SNP is that they have a one-dimensional view of the Scottish electorate. They assume that because about half of them vote for the SNP that half of them would vote for independence. That ain't necessarily so. Many Scots vote SNP because they cannot bear the thought of having a Labour or (particularly) a Tory MSP or MP. They don't necessarily subscribe to the maniacal (and largely unrealistic) pursuit of independence which many in the SNP seem to - to such a degree that it seems to border on a mental illness.
It can't. It's not under their their control. At best they can apply for independence and hope that the whole-of-the-UK government votes for it. In practice since they won't have the majority support in Scotland, merely the most seats at Holyrood, the rejection would be a formality.
He said ‘as part of a strategy to secure independence’. Not quite the same thing.
Nae gonna happen,3T.Us Scots are nae sae daft as the nationalist separatists on this site think we are.Quite a few dont even live in Scotland .
It won’t.
We all know there won’t be another independence referendum any ptime soon.
End of.
Oor Humza has the support of John Swinney, apparently.

That'll be that then. :-)

The dream is dead but they're all otherwise unemployable so the whole racket will continue for a while yet.
Douglas,Douglas,Douglas. The SNP nationalist separatists will be after your blood after posting that anti-SNP posting. But if you come up to Aberdeen i might gie ye a big bosie.
Rishi Sunak got a resounding NO from Tory party members, and still became PM.

TTT wasted his membership subscription.
He voted for Truss - thank good that ended after a month.
Whoever gets the SNPs head honcho job will have to do a lot of work untangling the Murrells poisoned chalice that they left.Mind you,the Murrells might be both be behind bars this time next year.Lets hope so.

Gromit, yes it's true I wanted Truss out of the final two but she was not my first choice. I accept she turned out to be a disaster, I didn't anticipate She and Kami Kwasi would do what they did, so hands up. I'd still prefer Boris TBH but Sunak is doing fine.
I am encouraged that Sunak is taking responsibility for policy, it is a refreshing change.

He is the right leader for now. He is talking with the French and the EU, and working to benefit the UK.

I just feel he is leading a party of lunatics squabbling with themselves. They are embarrassing to watch.
There is an election for Party leader so I would take anything any of them say with a pinch of salt.
