Where do I start Yes Yes and Yes, unfortunately in todays world its no longer common for a guy to bring home the bread and butter, shame I would love to be a lady of leasure (probably wouldnt if it happened get bored, but oooh no stress bring it on)
i remember when i was married. i worked loads of hours so my wife and i could have nice holidays, a nice house, stuff like that. she loved it.
and then she divorced me claiming she never saw me and work had destroyed our marriage.
never could work that one out.
stevie p165 it doesnt seem to matter what sex you are male or female, in order to survive these days unless yr a scrounger (sorry to all scroungers) it seems to come with the territory, sad but true
Dont think its anything about being a scrounger butternut. But a person can work for a company, lets call them "career animals" not necessarily (sp) giving all his/her earning to his/her partner. But just out for the high of giving his all to his company.
Wanting to give all his/her time to thier employer. For recognition at work. And in the meantime, giving nothing to the partner.... if you see what I mean!
Stevie165. The person I am with. His ex wife divorced him on more or less the same grounds.
Now he is with me. And although we are not married, and I am not enjoying the financial side of all the hours he puts in. I feel he is doing the same exact thing.
it was never a question of work coming first though. thats the point. i didnt want to work 16 hour days every day, but i did it because we both wanted to enjoy the finer things in life, and she wanted me to do it too.
then she divorced me for it.
