Before that I drove a Morris Oxford that my grandad gave me for my 21st birthday when he gave up driving.

i´m not much of car person. But when i was growing up in the 70s, my dad had a series of cars, 1st there was the mark 2 ford cortina, followed by the corsair, then a morris oxford, lastly an austin maxi.

Had all sorts over the years, including two Jaguars. The most joyous car to drive was my Alfa Romeo 164 Lusso, with three litre V6 engine and four speed automatic gearbox. The Lusso is top of the range, electric seats, sunroof,air con etc etc etc. Restricted to 155 mph and lightening quick. Loved it.
