"You should be"
1 Answers
I have been told that I should be....
:Good at something in this case.
With the language used being: "you should be good at _ _by now". My immediate interpretation of this persons implied meaning was that i'm NOT good at_ _.
Anyone see this any other way? The perpetrator was male and revoked my reproach. How do you deal with this stuff respectfully?

As to how to deal with it: if he's your boss, just grin and bear it. If he's not, ignore it: his speech was not helpful or complimentary, and need not be taken to heart.
