Elect Water Heater And Economy 7
2 Answers
Hi, I'm hoping to replace my outdated heating system but can't get gas or oil so am stuck with economy 7. Would it be possible to fit a timer to a 15litre electric water heater so that it activates during off peak times? Do EWHs store hot water? (As you can probably tell from this question, I have no idea how any of this works!)

... also... some water heaters are "instantaneous", so no storage.
Others though, can store 10 or 15 litres or more as required.
