Lion In A Suit

I'm trying to find an advert, I think it was in the 90's.
There was a lion wearing a suit, getting ready to go out.
The music in the background was a very funky song with a long intro. (I've looked amongst James Brown and Marvin Gaye stuff, but it still eludes me!)
I've already looked up stuff on you tube, but can't find the one I'm looking for.
I've a feeling the ad may have been for beer or cider?

I vaguely recall an ad where someone wore a lion suit. Unsure what was being advertised though. I thought it may be a betting thing. (I recall a bear marketing lager though.)
