Okay, I may be the only retard to have been caught out by this, don't laugh or I'll get rally defensive, but I've paid for a website pretending to be another (.com instead of .org). I'm a bit miffed. What can I do? Can I complain? Will anyone listen?

In other words the fact they have tricked you would mean they are unlikely to take any notice of any complaints. Trading standards would be the way to go but I'd guess being on the web it will be overseas and out of their hands. The next thing would be to tell your bank or credit card company that you have been tricked.
Well LeMarchand, I think you are probably right about the illegalness, it was Suprnova - which is pretty good. I'm pretty mad at myself for going ahead with it. There were a couple of times when things looked pretty odd, I just thought they were mistakes rather than purposefully misleading, and I just didn't read enough and assumed it was the same site - it looked pretty similar and I had only used .org a few times before. Too damn trusting. Oh well, getting my card replaced and I'll be sure not to sign up for ANYTHING ever again. Hows that Texas saying go? Fool me once - shame on you. Fool me - I cant be fooled again.
