No the wind has not been too bad. Kerry has had the most rain in living memory. Our field is sodden. We have ponds in the grass. If we are lucky frogs will arrive. The water has reached the raised sheds and we only made it to our Whiskey Tasting evening because the neighbour driving us had a high vehicle.
The lightning strike was the most amazing I've experienced. I felt it seconds before it hit then saw it strike across the forest. Friends there had sky dishes fried...electrics blown off walls and a fire started in one house but luckily they were in. Even a water pipe was damaged so friends had to move into the hotel.
Wind. We have a Sculpture Trail through the woods to the river every year. The theme this year is wind and our knitting group has been asked to make wind socks. Well I'm not knitting socks to hang up. The would be dull.
I have fabric to make a hanging of a box of Rennies or a bottle of Gaviscon. Failing that I'll find a large bird cage and make to put inside a large version of the wind emoji and title it Trapped Wind. ;-)
