Marketplace On Facebook

Recently I have been getting lots of notifications from marketplace. I’ve tried lots of ways to stop receiving them but they keep on coming. I’ve googled ‘how to hide notifications’ but nothing seems to work. Any advice appreciated.

Can you access FB on a phone?

Yes. I’ve got an iPhone XR and an iPad. They both get a lot of notifications about marketplace. It’s only been happening in the last month.

I am using Android so it might be different.
Open FB and go in to Marketplace
Click on the little icon of a man next to the magnifying glass at the top right
Click on Notifications under Account. You may have to scroll down to find it
Click on the cog and work your way through all the settings, turning off the notifications you don't want

I've had a similar thing lately but I ignore them. Perhaps try that.

Thanks to both of you for replying. Hopefully my grandson will be coming later in the week so he may be able to see what's happening. It's just irritating.
