Thank you for your answer, Scorpio.

How you getting on with this one Tilly ?
Between struggling and useless, Klaz.
I also found this week a little tough. Took me nearly 5 hrs (where others seem to have done it in no time)
Don't give up. We are here to help. And Magoo has left a little extra in the top line for those who can spot it. It'll fall into place the closer you get. :-)
Thank you.
I have engines in my mind. Warm or cold?
Cold(ish) Unless the engine is an animal !
:-)
Magoo has left a neat little tip for us to make sure we are on the right tracks in the top line. Think Pabulum ! ;-)
Thanks to your hint, I have now done two of the included

16d and 34a
Thanks a lot, Klaz.
Keep going Tilly. 16d was the hardest I thought. So you're on your way to victory :-)
Gotta go. Duty calls.
Ok Tilly. Have a good day :-)
Can anyone put me out of my misery and give me a clue to what 16d is? It looks as if it should start with something like 'hurly' but I can't find any word that would fit that. Thanks in anticipation!
put 'hacket' after
It is in Chambers [under Hurl]

It is also in the scottish dictionary online [but you need a hyphen (-) after Hurly for it to come up.
Great, many thanks!
Sorry Krypto. The Scots dictionary does not give that definition.
So if you haven't got a copy of Chambers. See below.
