Hi, is there a difference between men's and women's shoe sizes in the UK?

Apparently not. Shoe size is directly linked to foot length in mm.
It's the same size, male or female.

I keep getting conflicting information. Some places say there's a size-and-a-half-difference (a women's 7.5 would be a man's 6), others say the same
^elliemay's link isn't for the UK, btw.
One way to find out. Put on your most macho clothes,put on the false beard/moustache, go to the shop to try & buy a pair of men's shoes.
The 1.5 size difference, that's quoted on many websites, refers to US sizes. In the UK any difference found is likely to be closer to 0.5 (if there's actually any at all):
