Public Transport on Cote d'azur
Hi. Can anyone tell us whether there is plenty of public transport around the cote d'azur? We are thinking of going to La Baume Frejus next summer but do not want to hire a car. Are buses, taxis regularly available? Are they reasonably priced? Would we be able to travel easily north to say, Monaco and south to St. Tropez for example? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Timetable is at http://www.agglo-frejus-saintraphael.fr/images /pdf/ligne1bis.pdf and La Baume is between the timed stops at 21e RIMA and Cais Ecoles. A map of the Agglobus network is at http://www.agglo-frejus-saintraphael.fr/images /PLAN_AGGLOBUS.pdf and a single journey this year cost Eur1.10
Sodetrav route 104 runs from St Raphael/Frejus to St Tropez, approx every 1-2 hours, http://www.sodetrav.fr/
St Raphael to Monaco best done by train (change at Nice), there are more trains at St Raphael station than at Frejus. For train times go to http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en
