I was offered a secondment initially for 30months which was a great devlopment opportunity minimum with no guarantee of a role back after this time. A month after accepting the terms of the secondment changed to just 19 months, again with no guarantee of role after this.
Have been working for the same business for 12 years and my secondment was onto a project within the same business. My secondment is due to complete at the end of June.
A consultation should've started within three months of secondment ending,, to seek alternative employment opportunities, however this has not yet happened.
Also told that if unsuccessful a temporary role, for a period of no longer than 6 months, shall be sourced whilst consultation continues with me. In the event that redundancy takes place following my consultation, the statutory terms that are in existence at that point would be applied. Does this mean that i have to take the 6 month temporary role? If i don't am i redundant? do i just leave at the end of m contract? If they offer me a job that is not suitable and don't wish to take it, am i still eligible for redundancy or because they've offered me something this no longer applies? It's all so ambiguous and not sure where i stand
