Bbc Quiz : Week 17

Good evening.

I'm running a bit behind schedule because I've been catching up on some sleep tonight. The snooze seemed to help me with the main quiz anyway, as I managed a score of SIX out of seven this week:

The kids' quiz has some really easy question this week (as it should, of course) but I couldn't achieve a maximum score. FOUR out of five for me:

I was somewhat less successful in the Timed Teaser though, with a score of SIX out of ten this week:

So that's an aggregate of 16 for me. Can you do better, I wonder?

I definitely know nothing, mainly because I never follow the news, from any source, which is a 100% turn round for me because at one time I used to watch as much news as I could and read the papers every day. Now I couldn't name you any newsreader and I don't buy any papers. I know. I know. Stop whingeing! :o)

Good morning, chico. Your aggregate is safe from me this week, I've stepped off my perch slightly. 5,3,7 for me this week but I did know most of those answers, not a lot of guessing, plus two I should have got right but had forgotten the story.

Hi, Campbellking! It's annoying when you're 'on a roll' and then it all goes pear-shaped, isn't it? (I did the same on the main quiz, getting the first six right and then fouling up with the final question). Well done on some good scores this week, anyway!

My lot are never very impressed when I sing to them either ;-)

It takes real class to achieve a zero score in the main quiz, I reckon, 10CS ;-)

A decent enough sprinter this week, I see, Rocky, but clearly not a very childlike one ;-)

At least all your scores are 'passable' this week, Caran, which is a standard that quite a few people often struggle to get to ;-)
