It's something I read in a book and it amused me. Lead character accuses wife of being judgemental.
Everybody is judgemental.
It's part of life.
It would be hypercritical to point out that you’ve used different spellings in your posts :-)

It's actually a good question.
I think the description is used to describe an excess of judging folk beyond reasonable noting what's what. So, not necessarily.

We are indeed, Naomi, and we are all biased. I knows what I like and I like what I knows :D
Judgmental: "having or displaying an overly critical point of view"

So, it's not hypocritical if the speaker is not having or displaying an overly critical point of view while saying that somebody else is - maybe somebody who is belligerently ignorant, for example. :D
