Second Hand Car Values
What's going on? Why is my 13 year old diesel banger worth more than twice as much as it was three years ago? Still not worth a fortune but it is puzzling. Tis nowt special - a Hyundai i30 automatic.

After all it is much cheaper to keep your old banger on the road than it is to fork out for new modern electric jobs that devalue , going down faster than an Olympic diver. My 1989 vw t3 has been kept going at some cost , E.g. new engine upgraded brakes etc. the old engine did 200k miles plus without any real issues. The cost are not minor but still less than buying the latest zoom boing electric vw that will only do 200 miles before recharge
