Yes, you can and they will be perfectly happy together. My daughter had two guinea pigs and a rabbit together and they got along just fine. Just make sure they have a big enough run and a big enough hutch and plenty of fresh food and water. I think guinea pigs are happiest when in pairs, but rabbits are usually fine on their own. Most important thing to remember is that guinea pigs cannot manufacture Vitamin C naturally, so you should not feed them rabbit food, although rabbits can eat guinea pig food which contains a Vitamin C supplement.

I always thought you could, but after reading the rspca article I would probably err on the side of caution and not keep them together, but put two hutches next to each other and allow the animals to play in the run together for small periods.

In short as Boo said, you should not do it not only can rabbits be aggressive towards the G-pigs and really hurt them but G-pig food is not good for rabbits and vice versa G-pigs do need exra vit C you can get specialist G-pig food for this or you can buy suppliments that go in the water, I used to work for Pets mart (way back when) and we would never sell them to be housed together I now work for Bristol vet school and even Vets say its not the thing to do if you think your bunny or G-pig need company then get them a friend of the same SP.

i have a rabbit a gpig living together, they've been together for most of the pigs life (they were together in the shop, which is why i bought them both as i didnt want to split them up). after i got them i became aware of the problems of having them together and have watched them closely but they're fine. in fact they're more than fine, they're great together. i've had them over a year now and the one thing i have noticed is that they cant stand being apart. the bunny has free reign of the house (i leave the hatch open - the massive cage is in the lounge) she doesnt stay out long and if i'm giving the pig a cuddle she looks for him. he has really long fur (which i of course brush reg) and she cleans it for him (and he sings, its so cute). i'm not completely niave, but with these two, it really did work and i could never split them up.
