Who was the lady on the dark teal outfit who led the procession, and what was her role? I seem to have missed any info regarding her.

She did have a holder for the sword, round her neck, which wasn’t really visible till she took it off when she gave up the sword, a bit like a smaller version of the holder for The Colours of the military.

vagus - the holder for the sword helps, but you still have to keep it upright. I have this from OH, who still bears the standard at the Remembrance services. It is a lot heavier, granted, but the upright bit is hard - he only had to do it for about 5 mins.!

fiveleaves - that election was rigged, I'm certain, to ensure that there were 2 impossibilities to vote for and that Sunak would therefore be installed.
