Has anybody stood in Boots and looked at the shelves and shelves of crap that we humans think we need to live our lives? Apparently we need even more of this stuff at the expense of other sentient beings.

I do raise my eyebrows at claims of 'not tested on animals' on packaging.
A lot of ingredients will have been tested on animals at some point, just not by that company and maybe not in combination with the other ingredients.
They are all tested on animals, always were, always will be. If there is a denial on the packaging then the buyer/user is the animal it is being tested on.
That pointed out, one would have thought there was enough warpaint on the shelves to not need to test anything more. The change in the law seems a step backwards.
during Brexit it was p9inted out
not only by little me
that if you are gonna trade in Rome , then you will have to obey Roman Laws,
Brexit has the effect that you now can not affect laws in Rome
