For those that asked here are some photos.
Apologies for the scrappy pastry it’s not my strong point.
I have to say it tastes beautiful as well, I will make again but may change the pastry to a higher protein one.

Who ate all the quiche?
Question Author
We have had a slice so far . It will be dinner tonight and probably tomorrow as well
Your pastry looks like the sort of pastry I make but it does look very tasty. I like the combination of spinach and cheese but would probably leave out the broad beans.
Question Author
I skinned the broad beans so they were actually very nice and so easy to skin
Looks good!!! Hope it tasted lovely.
That looks really good.
I like your plates too.
Did you make the scones Helen?
I could certainly polish all those off for you if you have jam and cream.
Did it taste nice ?
Question Author
I cheated and bought the scones but there is clotted cream and jam for later.
I tasted absolutely delicious have to be honest, I changed the cheddar for Red Leicester as that’s what we had in.
I will make it again once my home grown spinach and beans are big enough
Red .... Yes Red Leicester it is for me .. am just wishing I lived next door to Mr and Mrs Red and they might invite me in for lunch.
Looks lovely
Question Author
Lol Haz more than welcome, himself is also having cucumber sandwiches and cream cheese and salmon sandwiches (crusts removed of course)
Question Author
Thanks barry
Looks fab, Mr Red is a very lucky man. :0)
The quiche looks very nice, unfortunately, I'm not a lover of spinach or broad beans, but I would try it if I was offered a piece. Hint hint :-)
I bought the quiche, (farm shop so good and tasty) and will make the scones tomorrow!
Question Author
I am really impressed with it, it’s awfully creamy so next time will reduce the double cream but increase the milk aspect.
Would be tempted to add a bit of bacon to it, although it is lovely without any
une tarte as the French would say.....never mind the looks, RH, a wee clip of the edges would have had you there - but if it tasted good, that is all that matters. Personally, I would have added some blanched leek to it to make it represent Le Pays de Galle. I wonder if Monsieur le President had 'une tarte couronne'? I 'd better not go there.....
I’m glad it was a success for you Helen, I like food that looks rustic :)
