As a result of Brexit, chemicals used in the cosmetic industry can once again be tested on animals. The Tory government wanted to keep this a secret for some reason.

The cost of beagle puppies could skyrocket, with animal lovers bidding against multinational cosmetic conglomerates for the pups.

no not really a benefit - it excludes sales of good old British coal tar soap to Europe innit?
( doesnt obey the rules set out for sales in those countries)

but this was set out at the time - the freedom to change the rules LIMITED our markets, and didnt enlarge them
nice blue passports tho
oh and did you know
the Great Big British Liberties Bill
you know the one where you end up with fewer liberties afterwards, that one
has now been abandoned
on the grounds that it wd probably mean withdrawing from the relevant treaty - - of which we were prime movers in the fifties
You lost. suck it up.
Still the remoaners moan! You lost, we ain't going back, either move there or stop moaning.
However if Hymie looked deeper there is a Brexit benefit.

He, and others now have the chance to remove the Government at the ballot box. If the EU did something similar there would be no redress.
Surely not more anti-Brexit nonsense ? When are certain citizens going to stop hating our nation ?

youre wasting your breath on him and his little friend on here. theyre both obsessed with boring the crap out of the board with their non stop drivel...bet they fun at parties though.....
There's no chance of us rejoining the bloc - the French will never allow it because they benefit most from us having left, in terms of influence and even economically to some degree (and as the only country in Europe to be fully self-sufficient, France is better placed to weather the current global problems too). The French were hostile to us joining in the first place, and it doesn't take much to make it impossible for us to rejoin the bloc, given the new entry 'rules'.
Germany has suffered most from the split and looks to be in recession (now that the upgrade to the recent figures has been dramatically downgraded) but France will veto any influence from that direction.
We, the people who voted for Brexit, will happily go on waiting to elect a government that will improve our lot - grateful that it's now a real possibility, however remote (and thankful that we've only dropped a few % points so far, not suffered the total economic collapse we were warned would happen almost overnight). Until then, the other lot will have enough to moan about to keep their peckers up (and any economic boom we see over here will always only be a tiny fraction of the one we'd have had if we'd stayed put). It's a win-win situation as I see it.
And on the animal welfare front - we all know how wonderfully kind to animals they are over there.
