i'm not sure exactly what that aphorism is saying; on the face of it it seems to be saying "more power to the unreasonable man" which seems to be the opposite of what you want to apply?

It's similar to a NUS debating society whereby an unreasonable leader will 'cancel' a speaker because that speaker's views do not chime with NUS leaders view (JK Rowling ?)
