Editing a cd-r

I have downloaded music from itunes and burnt it to a cd.r. I only want to play the beginning of the music and a piece near the end. Is there anyway I can edit this to play just the sections I want?

Get hold of a wave editor like Nero for instance - load the track up let it play and cut out the bits you don't need.
