Need To Cancel Sky Sports

Hello.
I am trying to cancel a Sky Sports subscription, as my circumstances have changed.
Is there any way I can cancel it before the subscription ends in September 2024, or am I stuck paying £18 per month, for the next 17 months?
I hope someone can help, as I'm getting so frustrated with this.

You can cancel it but there will be a ‘fine’

If you have only had the subscription a month (18 month contract ?) maybe you could explain it was a mistake to take it out? talk to disconnections

Just an update: I phoned Sky this afternoon and spoke to a very helpful chap. He told me that there would be a £60 fee, to cancel Sky Sports. I then explained to him that, until a few months ago, we had had countless engineer visits from Sky and BT Openreach, as they couldn't seem to sort out our terrible Internet and not once did I apply for compensation. He then spoke to his supervisor, who told him to waive the £60. It is such a relief, during this trying time I'm going through at the moment.
