After a gruelling 2hr car chase, the paparazzi managed to shake off Harry and Meg.

I'm starting to think this is probably genuine, probably exaggerated no doubt. You see if this was a put up job then the paps etc would have either been actors or at least encouraged to chase. So that's a load of drivers and paps etc that know it's a charade. They'd only have to come clean to the media to make an even bigger Smollet type story and H and co could find themselves prosecuted. So I don't think they'd risk that.
The cab driver completely dismissed this so called 'near catastrophic car chase' as an exaggeration. He said it wasn't a chase and he did not feel intimidated but perfectly safe.

///The taxi driver who drove Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle and her mother through New York City during a car chase has spoken out.
Sukhcharn Singh picked up the Sussexes from the New York City Police Department’s 19th precinct on Tuesday evening, where they had gone to in an attempt to lose paparazzi.
He told NBC the Sussex’swere followed by paparazzi but their description of the car chase as “near catastrophic” was “exaggerated”, and he never felt as if he was in danger.
He said: “I think that’s all you know, exaggerated and stuff like that. So don’t read too much into that, you know.
“New York City is the safest place to be.
Mr Singh also told the Washington Post Meghan and Harry’s security asked him to drive back to the station out of concern their location would be shared with more people.
“I don’t think I would call it a chase,” he said. “I never felt like I was in danger. It wasn’t like a car chase in a movie.//

Already their spokesman ,who just happens to be their biographer, is whingeing on their half, of course, that no one from Buckingham Palace has spoken to them since their near catastrophic ordeal. 'Quelle Surprise' He probably doesn't understand shock and the only contacts with the Sussexes are, at the moment, their attorneys. Boo Hoo.
His mother was killed in a catastrophic car chase so I can imagine that he is a little over-sensitive and triggered by anything that remotely resembles anything like that. He will not view things in the same way that some one who has not been affected by such things will. Although he was not with his mother when she died, I can imagine he will feel situational anxiety.
45 years ago, I was involved in a very bad accident outside my parents' house (a car driven at great speed went into the back of mum's car). My anxiety when I have to make that turn even now is dreadful and if there is nothing behind me to have seen me slow down and indicate, I will drive up the road, turn round and come back for fear of an unseen speeding vehicle to come round that corner. It is completely irrational.
I do have immense sympathy for him regarding anything like this. However, when one adds it to the catalogue of other whinges (some of which might depend on varying recollections) I can well understand how it might be seen as just more Sussex "cry wolf, attention seeking, snowflakery, me me me, money making" histrionics.

There are 2 points I make regarding this "story":
1. Why on earth would Harry wish for privacy and not to court the paparazzi yet decide to move to a country where the right to photograph anyone in public is covered by America's Constitution?

2. How can Harry exploit Diana's death and trade on it in this reprehensible manner? Has he no feelings for Charles, William and Diana's family?
I will never believe another word Harry utters. He is absolutely disingenuous.
