If one can say I’ve been to a lovely funeral , that’s what I’m saying
I went to our village florists a bough a long stemmed peach rose with fern in memory of a grand old lady of 97, I used to play with all her daughters when we were small children growing up in a tight knit community , there were 6 girls and one boy,
Margaret or Peggy as she got originally came from Berwick so a lone piper headed the cortège , it was very moving , a humanist funeral, there were laughter and tears but mostly laughter, the crematorium was bursting at the seams ,she was obvious so well loved by all who knew her .
Yes a very poignant happy send off
