I have got about 200 old lp"s. they range from neil diamond to rodstewart all crap like that. I want to get rid of em. So if i advertised them in the local paper how much should i put them in for? or would i be better off putting them on ebay individually?

If they're crap like that, put them in the bin.
You could sell them as a job lot on Ebay - that way you won't spend the next year writing listings and checking each one for its exact condition (which any record collector will want to know if buying individually). And you won't have to buy lots of packaging to send them in, and pay 200 sets of fees.

Or you could take them to your local second hand record shop - they won't give you as much as you might get for them if sold to a collector as they have to make a profit.
If you do sell them in the local paper I wouldn't take less than 200 as 1 each is nothing.

Another option is take them to a car boot sale - couple of quid each

Make sure you don't have any valuable ones though - you can check the Rare Record Price Guide from most bookshops (or maybe your local library). Beatles, Elvis that sort of thing
Yeah i think thats your best option and do not do what Briwrite said and chuck em in the bin that is criminal and breaks my heart when Vinyl gets disposed of in that way, makes me feel sick! Theres always someone who will want it and may not think that it is crap, like me!
...and me, you can't beat vinyl. CD's are just not the same
