I do hope this is an April fool gag but I've just read that Amanda Holden is taking over from Paul O'Grady. That's another programme I won't be watching then.

Amanda is an animal lover and also an ambassador for Battersea dogs and cats home. She discovered recently that her ancestor helped to launch the charity, so I think we may be happily surprised . She should have the sense to wear appropriate clothing to get down on the floor and let the dogs clamber all over her, just like Paul did.

Perlease .. give her a chance. As jazzgirl and I have said she was a big friend of POGy and she shared his passion for dogs and is also an ambassador for Battersea. Let's wait and see how she does before bashing her. Paul is going to be a hard act to follow. She might surprise all you doubters.

Just hope she doesn't surprise her supporters;-(
