Do you think it's okay to get stuck and obsessed with your favourite books for years and reread them multiple times yet not trying to read new books?

It shows a deep-rooted psychosis which demonstrates a dangerous inability to embrace anything new and to take unnatural comfort in the familiar. Seek professional help.
Define "OK".

Some people would say that anything you do, that you enjoy and that doesn't harm others, is "OK". By that definition, re-reading your favourite books multiple times, to the exclusion of all others, is obviously "OK".

However it might not be "OK" from a mental health perspective.

Guys, I can easily embrace "new things" in other matters. I've changed my house a thousand times in my life, I've moved to a new country, I always make new friends, I've tried various jobs and have been quite successful in a few of them. My problem is not the fact that I'm not able to embrace new things. I only seem to have this problem in reading books.
