Happy Holidays

We set off yesterday at 7pm and had a trouble free car journey to our destination, would definitely do it again at that time.
We’re in the middle of the countryside on the banks of a river, peaceful, calming, mayflies have just started bouncing, we’ve sat in the garden since about 4pm having a few G&Ts and generally relaxing. Will be seeing a few family members over the two weeks we’re here, which will be lovely, but also having time to ourselves which will also be lovely :)
Barry, the all bran cake was a huge success, even nicer than I remembered and will definitely be doing it again, so quick and easy.

What no mozzies vagus? The minute I go in the garden of an evening they are all around me.

Well, there could be ladybirder, but we haven’t sat out in the evening..yet! OH is a mozzie magnet, they leave me well alone. We’ve just had our evening meal and will probably stay hermetically sealed inside now, till morning, due to his hatred of mozzies ;)

I feel sorry for him. I too am a mozzie magnet and the bites are horrendous and take on a life of their own. If one comes into my flat I have to get it before it gets me.
When I was in Spain I was eaten alive and my friend never had a bite at all. Anyway, have a lovely evening. x
