Can’t do photos Barry, and won’t be cutting into it till tomorrow, it’s to take away with us, but will let you know when we do.
The recipe I used, which has three handwritten on a scrappy bit of paper in my recipe folder, says in big letters USE THIS ONE, so I did…
2 cups SR flour (1 whole meal, 1 white)
2 cups all bran
2 cups milk
2 cups dried fruit, 1 cup nuts
1 cup sugar
Soak all bran, fruit and sugar in the milk for 20 mins.
Bake 170 degrees (fan) for 55 minutes.
Today I just used all white flour and omitted the nuts as I didn’t have either in but added more fruit.
