..they only have one legitimate use, to help smokers quit. Beyond that they are addicting the kids with the new thing they think makes them "cool". I thought we got rid of this with the smoking ban, now we have the cloud generators filling the air with their garbage. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

people were smoking tobacco for centuries before they curtailed it - mainly on the grounds that it makes other people sick, rather than the smokers.

Absent any such proof about vaping, it's hard to see why it should be banned.

I think some welcomed them initially as an alternative to young non-smokers starting cigarette smoking.

My wife used to smoke about five a day outside. Now she vapes almost continuously in the lounge. It stinks the room out. I sit wearing a covid mask for most of the evening. I much preferred her cigarette smoking outside.

davids; Maybe your wife might take to Nordic Spirit nicotine pouches. No tobacco, just nicotine in a tiny tea bag you tuck between your cheek and gum. I use one a day (3 mg of nico) as opposed to 20 fags at god knows what strength. Costs me a fraction of the price and doesn't involve inhaling tars and CO. Been at it for 5 months without a twinge of regret.
