It Was My Birthday Sunday

and it wasn't very good day, at all

in the morning, I had an argument with a phone scammer trying to sell me insurance

then, I almost got stung by a wasp (I'm alergic, so didn't go down too well!)

and to end it all, I had quite a poor roast dinner.
it's hard enough on birthdays without family (mine's not been in my life for over 10 years), but omg. it wasn't the best at all.

sorry to hear it was such a bad day. But don't argue with scammers, just hang up. And you escaped the wasp!

Just shrug off the bad dinner and treat yourself to a good one somewhere, with friends maybe?

I had a bad birthday too. Mine was on coronation day and I spent it in hospital following major surgery. The woman in the bed opposite kept making loud phone calls and breaking wind. The woman in the bed next to mine had dementia. It can only get better next year for us both Emily - at least I hope so!

sounds like it was a great day - nothing like putting down a scammer and killing a wasp. As to the dinner, may I recommend Raymond Blanc's 'Blanc Vite' - it has some very good recipes and very 'cookable'.
