I volunteer for an organisation where head office circulates news and info to us volunteers by email. It’s all well organised but every now and then something goes out from the local site. When the local employee does this they don’t use a mailing app or even bcc us all in. So we can all see each others email addresses.

It really annoys me that they do this because I don’t think it’s right to share our home emails; or am I being sensitive?

It might be an idea to e-mail head office to make them aware.

It could be the local employee hasn't thought to use BC or isnt aware what it's for.
clearly against the law
You should gently chide them
and remind them BCC should ( must ) be used

You clearly havent consented to this use of email
Forgetting to use BCC (or even not knowing what it's for in the first place) is easily done. (AB's Ed once forgot to use BCC when emailing all of the site's moderators, for example). Just send a polite message to alert the relevant person to the issue.
It's poor practice, and inconsiderate. Ask them to create a group so they have less to type in and you all get privacy from here on in (if a bit late).
