The Triple lock is under threat again Thanks to the Cons.
It is becoming too much to pay out. At some point it has got to be stopped otherwise pensioners will end up with higher state pensions than average earnings.And we can't have that can we,,,So they are thinking of means testing the triple lock because lots of pensioners don't need it .

It would appear Gilliver has made a typo. As the person saying it is a labour person clearly it must be the intention of labour to stop the triple link. He must have meant to write "Thanks to labour"

Think the Tories are doing a bit of foot shooting here. With a GE not far away ,which they will certainly lose.
