Back in the apartment with ceiling fan whirring Haz,we’ll probably go out around 8pm, my favourite meal too ( Italian )
My Kalawen shows 85.4F in the garden and 84.3F in the house and it's reasonably accurate. As I wont be holidaying to sunnier climes any time soon unless the NHS pull their finger out I am making the most of soaking up the rays in my garden with a few lagers and occasional Gin and Lime. Wife's away in Dorset so am home alone and enjoying the peace. All bedroom windows open last night which is a first for ages. Cheese, bread sticks and red wine for tomorrows laze in the garden. My exotic evening repast this evening will be Sausage egg and chips as I am forbidden to fry food in our kitchen so while the wife's away I will play. Enjoy your sojourn.

Haha Retro, my kind of day, I hope you’re health improves daily too
The first sunny, warm day we've had here so far (cloud and 11 degrees earlier in the week plus a n/e wind) and we had to spend it driving down to Sheffield and getting lost in heavy traffic as we tried to find a small garage that had a suitable automatic for sale. I already drive a small one, but OH's knee is now being painful when changing gear, so he needs to swap his car. Got home at 4 - now drowsing in the sun (I've done all the prep for dinner). :)
Thanks Bobbisox :-)

Thanks, Bobbi, hope you enjoy your Italian, I assume that is food!
Retrocop, thanks for your good wishes on my thread in B&S - don't break the egg yolk!
Hi Bobbi, very little today staying indoors mostly as I was out and about yesterday in it and a bit exhausted, so today was defrosting the freezer Made a Sausage Casserole and a Veggie Curry with the not so fresh vegetables, as not to waste them before fresh delivery from Tesco on Tuesday.
Bobbi's favourite Italian:

I've been taking it easy today and just getting boring tasks (such as visiting a barber for the first time in months) out of the way.

I'll be joining friends for a pub lunch tomorrow

and then we'll be visiting about 20 gardens, spread around three villages

Had a lovely evening in balmy heat, meal was first class, went for a nightcap in the square but it was full of crazy Man City people , whooping and hollering ( well done them) so we meandered back to the apartment and we’re now having that nightcap in peace with just Alexa playing Perry Como low in the background, lovverrly
Ooo could I borrow Bobbi’s favourite Italian please ? I promise I’ll give him back …eventually !!
Ooh Bobbi .... you hav zee ways of making one go green with envy...still I suppose I could have a barmy toddle round the block singing "I'm dreaming of a White Christmas"! x
This glorious weather !
What a shame I have had to spend most of it installing a new printer, which I wanted to print the crossword , but I find this sort of thing difficult because basically, I don't understand the lingo... got it sorted by about 6pm, cooked bacon & egg followed by large glass of Pino
but haven't finished Paul's tribute to Rufus yet...
