Did anyone watch this? Supposedly a "grilling" for the CEO, Carolyn McCall. Once the Chair brought in other MPs to ask questions there seemed to be a deal of apathy with MPs questioning why they were there. Then John Nicholson (SNP) had his time and spoke up about several employees of ITV, past and present, who had contacted him about bullying and toxic culture. Suddenly the heat was turned up to more of a "stir frying".
It was a refreshing change to hear an MP do the job they are voted in for and paid for, well done Mr. Nicholson! He certainly ruffled the CEO.

They need to work out how/why the bullying has happened and has continued to happen. This type of toxic workplace should be relegated to the distant past and the unions should have been doing whatever it is they do.

Was Dorries, now Donelan. The most recent seven were all in post for a year, except for Hancock who came and went in 2018. Rumour has it that Dorries only took the job after Johnson had suggested adding the word "digital" to the name of the post.
If there is a SoS for DCMS+, then it seems that the govt does like to justify its existence by giving them some "kangaroo court" powers as a sweetener.
