Im Drinking Myself To Death....dont Know What To Do???
18 Answers
Was admitted to a psych unit in February after a period of suicidal depression.
Kept for a day in A&E and 3 days psych ward and then discharged.
Reffred to alcohol services.
Remaned sober for 43 days days then lost my employment. Drank again.
Referred back to drug and alcohol services.
Had only 2 interactions with them since.
left numerous phone messages
(Always an answerphone when ringing)
What a joke!
Next time that you tell someone to get ''Professional'' help,
just be aware that that they may have to beg for it....

You've got nothing to lose (and potentially a hell of a lot to gain), so what no give it a go?

Difficult to advise on your mental health problems but with the drinking try not to be despondent on 'falling of the wagon' especially in the early days. Instead look at it as a target to reach and beat this time round. And if it happens again just do the same. Tiny steps sometimes are better for people.
Do try AA, they do help and a sponsor will be worth more to you than any "professional" help. The know your problems far better usually.
