Fathers Day…..

I’ve seen it rendered both ways on various AB threads. but which is correct?
Father’s Day?
or
Fathers’ Day?
(is there only one way to find out? :-D )

Or maybe it doesn't need an apostrophe at all. Maybe it is a plural....
I say Father's Day, as in "Day of the Father".

Rather than Fathers' Day, "Day of the Fathers", even though that also makes grammatical sense ...
Usually seen as Father's Day.
I only ever had one father. It was his day. (Although he was never interested in a fuss anyway.)
Or; you could ask Harry Hill.
Father's Day = Father is day

Fathers' day = day of the father, as stated by Ellipsis.
It's Father's Day
Surely there are plans afoot to ban father's day?
