Wordle Today, Wednesday

Got this on very lucky third guess, so many possibilities. How did you get on?

I've been playing their new 'Connections' game but it is no real challenge, not a patch on Only Connect's tv version and their puzzle in the Radio Times.

I stopped doing Wordle until people started posting about it again. I got four letters on my second go - but it took me five goes to pick the right missing letter.

Luckily I did it in 3 today. I'm now on a 14 day winning streak ... phew!

Not done it yet. Wife and I have a routine. We make 2 copies of the metro crossword with cryptic and quick crosswords and go to the pub at about 3pm. We compete to finish them first and then we do wordle. We are known as the ‘Crossword Couple’ in the hostelry.

Do you all start with the same word every time? I choose a different one every time.

I make up a new one every day. My wife has two regular starter words. One I know is ‘ready’

Got 4 letters in 2 go then phew just managed it

Got it in 5 today. I always start with the same word ADIEU, as it gives most of the vowels

I use the same two starter words, they give me all five vowels and five common consonants. Wednesday in three but more by luck than judgement.

I got a very rare 2 today...
KAZOO the other day was a real PHEW !
