Restroom Remodeling?
4 Answers
. My six year old daughter Clara is 1‘5“ tall and 18 pounds due to her dwarfism.
I was talking with my husband about remodeling the bathroom that she uses and putting kid sized appliances (sink, shower, toilet, etc.) in there. If we did this though we would be remodeling the guest bathrooms. If we went through with this, would adults still be able to use everything in there just fine?
right now everything is way too tall/big for Clara to use. And if we did switch everything out to kid sized appliances, I am thinking that might be a better height for her.
So yeah, I would just like to know if adults would still be able to use everything? And do you think kid sized appliances would be a good height for Clara or still too big?

A set of platform steps for the hand basin and toilet with a modified seat ,I am thinking full size adult female especially with impaired mobility due to age wouldn't be able to use kid sized fittings while a man might be able to use a kids lol for a pee which wouldn't be strong enough for adult weight in sit down mode either. If you have space, creating a new separate bathroom for her might be the best option, even if it means taking space from an existing room.

Its worth a look although I realise clara is exceptionally small compared with typical sizes of people with dwarfism
