Dealing With A Troublemaker In The Office
9 Answers
She causes trouble with most people in the office. I was just on my way out of the office at the end of my working day, my bag over my shoulder and cardigan on, when another colleague, Yasmin*, wanted a fully blown conversation with me. I said, "So sorry, I can't talk now. I must get my train. We'll talk next time. OK?" She said, "OK. See you tomorrow".
Next day, Yasmin* said to me, "You know Katie* told me you were rude to me and shut me down like that yesterday on your way out, but I told her you weren't like that type of person". I told said back, "But you know I live the furthest away and my working day ended and why is Katie* getting involved in our conversation?".
Katie* causes problems for everyone and complains to management about everyone in the office, but the manager does nothing about her as the manager can't stand Kattie*.
What's the best way to deal with Katie* who pokes in her nose in everything? She's a meddler.
