These are people who once, without effort, commanded our absolute respect, and he is echoing my thoughts. With striking medical professionals on the streets hooting and hollering, teachers teaching children that 'Woke' is beyond criticism, and police failing to do a proper job in upholding the law, how can we possibly have confidence in any of them?

So many facets to cover. At the risk of being called old-fashioned (see if I care) I have listed some of my thoughts as simply as I can. Obviously not everything applies to all...
Sheer greed. People want everything and now. Gone are the days we would cut our coat according to the cloth and save until we could afford it.
Everyone wants to be a homeowner from the word go. Inability to do so makes them feel disadvantaged.
Less respect for people, authority and property.
Most people of all ages have access to the internet, but not all use it wisely.
Moral turpitude and lack and personal restraint.
Ambitions, some at any price - welcome to the rat-race.
Intolerance of too many things.
Breakdown of the family unit.
Reduction in parental control/responsibility.
All too readily available drugs and alcohol.
Allowing too many pressures to influence individuals.
The apparent inability to say "no" and adhere to it.
Stupid effort put into promoting certain movements/ideas - wokeism for one
Common sense is leaving us by the day.
Irresponsible media reporting
Protestors who endanger lives and frustrate people who are just getting on with life and their own problems
Employees who are dumped on every day by ridiculous additions to their workload, often taking them away from the fundamental roles.
